Watercolour abstract red
This is one of the starting points of my watercolour collage pieces. I create a sheet of abstract colour using inks, paints and different solvent liquids. When it has dried and been pressed I mark and cut it into patchwork pieces, which I arrange into the finished design. After final adjustments, patchwork is a very precise art (!), glueing and more pressing, I stitch the pieces into place using machine embroidery.
